Sewing Project – T-shirt Dress

Recently, I finished this dress:

 

I started out with a t-shirt and I followed this tutorial from Sweet Verbena. I purchased the t-shirt for $10 and I added navy blue jersey to the bottom and a polka dot ribbon for a bit more support.

 

Then I got to wear it! It’s the first piece of clothing that I have ever sewed myself. The Broncos lost the game they played this day, but I felt festive and fun!
